I was so thrilled when Ashley and Phil got engaged! They are seriously one of the most beautiful God fearing couples I have had the pleasure of knowing. You can check out their awesome engagement session here at Caddo Lake! When Ashley and I met up at McDonald’s (free babysitting station basically) to talk about my wedding packages, she made it very clear that she wanted to make sure that her ceremony was God honoring, that when people saw their ceremony that God would use it to show them what this holy covenant is all about. It is after all a marriage between three, Ashley, Phil and our heavenly father. Those that were there with us that day witnessed an incredibly heart warming ceremony, filled with emotion, laughter, joy, and the love of Christ. You could tell how much Phil loves his bride, it was written all over his face. They listened so intently on those sacred vows, they were not taken lightly, this couple knew how serious those words truly were. They were meant for a purpose, a promise, a deep commitment to one another and before the Lord our God.
Ashley is not one to overlook details 😉 She had a hand on each and every detail, made most items if not all, by herself and had quite an awesome army behind her supporting her and helping in any way they could.
This was one of the most beautiful weddings that I have not only had the opportunity to photograph, but to ever attend! I know many people including myself, had to wipe tears from their eyes on several occasions, only I got to hide behind a giant lens and conceal my red watery eyes 🙂
This venue was absolutely gorgeous! With an open rustic feel to it, it was hard not to get lost in the pure beauty of your surroundings.
They had quite a lively bridal party, it was a lot of fun to capture those moments between friends just celebrating, eating pie, drinking peach tea and having a good ol’ time!
Oh and if I haven’t already mentioned, I’m a newborn photographer and I can’t wait until this couple bares some fruit 😉 😉 😉
After they said, “I do”…they said LET’S PARTY!!
Just one last dance…remember this moment, this experience for it only happens once in a lifetime <3
