Isn’t Annie the sweetest little thing?! I had the honor of photographing Annie come into this world by a gentle cesarean at Texas Health in Cleburne just a week prior to her newborn session. Her mom and dad waited to choose her name until she was born. They said they just couldn’t agree beforehand, but the moment they saw her they both just knew she was Annie!

This session was really special to me as big brother, Ezra, was one of my first newborns! I’m always so excited when clients come back to me year after year.

Mom and dad followed my session tips perfectly, so as soon as she arrived for her session, Annie was super sleepy and ready to go. When we discussed her hopes for Annie’s session, her mom mentioned she loved my deep burgundy color and hoped to somehow use her wedding veil. I love making my client’s dreams come true, so we got creative and were able to beautifully incorporate it into her session.

Annie’s mom was open to whatever I had in mind and loved the rich jewel tones I used (my current obsession! Aren’t they gorgeous?)
